Weeks ago, I've decided that this blog deserves some serious hacking... Today it remains under a state of hack but I'm happy to report that the overall look became a little better. Just my opinion though...

My profound apologies to people I've dragged here to critique the changes I've implemented. I hope to recompense your annoyance someday, somehow... but I was in dire need of inputs you see and it's hard to see with my own eyes blinded by hours of hunting for dangling html To those who took the time off to click and critique, my sincerest thanxx!

The hardest part of blogging, of course, is the writing. Believe you me, template tweaking is one irrational compulsion you can't afford tolerating. It always feels like a perfectly valid excuse to delay writing but it's not...

Anyways, it does take a while, a long while in my case, to find your own voice in a world wide web filled by celebrity bloggers... I believe finding that voice is a journey in itself, one I'm only beginning to traverse.

THE SEARCH FOR LIFE'S MEANING
Okay, I guess I'll stick by this moniker, if I can help it. This is what I've been doing all my life any way, in between movies, mall breaks and fastfood expeditions, yes I was on a perpetual search mode for the meaning of life. Did I find it? Well, I'll get to that after a word from our sponsors, but let me say this much here, I'm glad I've did search for it because along the way I've met a multitude of other journeyists like me, from all walks of life, with the same prayer in their heart of hearts... so much to tell but I do hope they drop by and tell their own stories...

So beginning today, I hope to be really begin writing again... If, I could only, I mean perhaps just get myself to first fix that annoying little code I put there a while back... hmmmm... let me see...

ATTACK OF THE SUPER TUBERCULOSIS

Russia is on the verge of a super tuberculosis outbreak.

Pravda Online says experts have discovered a new deadly culture of tuberculosis, which cannot be treated with existing medications;

“high death-rate among people with tuberculoses from the former Soviet Union has to do with people’s weak immune systems. Also, we noticed that such widespread of tuberculosis coincides with the overall rise of AIDS, which has already turned into a real epidemic in Russia.”

They explain the correlation this way: once an organism's immune system has already been weakened by AIDS, "it becomes susceptible to tuberculosis in general and to the new culture in particular".

THE DARK KNIGHT BREAKS RECORD

The Dark Knight, Christopher Nolan's Batman sequel raked in $155 million between Friday and Sunday, outselling the previous top weekend grosser, 2007's Spider-Man 3, by more than $4 million and driving the movie business to a record $253 million weekend.

The movie's unprecedented box office strength is "mind-boggling" according to Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros. Pictures. It benefited from a unique mix of factors beyond the usual superhero movie hype. This includes a buzzed-about performance by the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, perfectly pitched marketing, agile distribution and gas prices that have made a night at the movies an attractive alternative to a summer road trip. It also helps that The Dark Knight, as most critics and audiences claim, is a very good film.

As usual people's boredom has made hyper-realism a big hit in the big screen again. In addition, the movie also feeds on people's tendency to worship at the feet of dark avenging heroes when in real life they feel powerless to march against monumental evils hurled against them by corrupt big government.
